Children are tender shoots to be nurtured lovingly to be handled delicately and firmly.
Our care given at pre-primary level enable the tiny tots to take their first
few steps in a wider outer world thus laying a strong foundation for capable individuals.
The approach here is ‘child centered’. It is development oriented with emphasis on the child’s interaction with his environment. The main objectives at this level are the development of socioeconomic language, physical and motor aspects, creative expressions, aesthetic and cognitive skills.
Syllabus of these classes is designed to development-oriented and child-centered in approach and it places a great deal of emphasis on children’s interaction with an active experience of environment. It is based on the thematic approach as apart of child-oriented education.
The main objective of the syllabus is to aim at an all-round personality development of the child.

Concept of the month can be any topic, which the children can easily identify, in their day-to-day activities. Extensive knowledge of the chosen concept is given to the students with the help of Worksheets, Excursion, dramatics, talks etc. and should be preferably from the following.
Red, Green, Yellow, Blue, Black, White.
Square, Rectangle, Triangle, Circle, Oval.
Talk about all kinds of fruits and vegetables The season they come in fruits/vegetables growing on trees or under-ground Sweet and sour. Visit to a vegetable and fruit market, farm, etc.
Domestic and Wild animals. Their habits habitat what do they eat their cries and sounds.
Talk about common birds and insects Their living and eating habits.
How do we travel? How one came to school. What means of transport parents have at home. How do parents go to office. What means of transport one sees moving on he road, in the air, on the water. What moves very fast. What moves very slowly. Naming two wheelers and four wheelers.
Summer Winter Spring Rainy. Clothes, fruits, Drinks and Gadgets used in different seasons.
Talk about different type of articles house hold, electrical etc. Festivals: Talk about National and other festivals, the importance of each festival, how and why they are celebrated. Park and Gardens: About various gardens, amusement park, what we find in them. What do the children do in the parks? Talking about slides, swings, flowers, plants etc.
Talk about different type of clothes Talk about Healthy food and its importance How harmful and unhealthy is junk food to our system
Talk about different parts of body and their uses.
Our common day-to-day helpers will be covered, their work, uniform etc.
Where they live, with whom, and how many people stay with them. Talk about family relations, the eldest and the youngest etc.

Besides academic activities children will be involved in meaningful creative activities. Some of the activities are paper crumpling, clay modeling, paper tearing, folding, pasting, starch play, collages, water play, paper cutting, thumb, printing, spray printing, hand impression etc.

The culinary skills of the children will be tapped with the aim of encouraging the little ones to understand the importance of healthy food. Apart from baking cakes, biscuits, they also learn to make Salads, Sandwiches, Pizzas, Lemonades, simple pudding and fruit cream etc.

A thematic approach is designed to stimulate the children through various interactive sessions and activities. Innovative, contemporary concepts
are projected and re-enforced through different subjects “learning by doing’ culminating in joyful learning is the ultimate goal. A blend of mass
participation along with an emphasis on a strong sense of individuality is stressed upon.
The emphasis at middle school is on developing the rightstudy habits and securing an in depth knowledge of the subject. The curriculum is research oriented based on teamwork. Selection of matter and presentation is
given utmost importance. Personality development, value education and coppingwith peer pressure are stressed upon at this stage.
The primary aim is to equip the students with knowledge skills and values which enable them to take responsibilities, gain life skill for their personal and professional development APS endeavors to provide not just pedantic learning but a genuine and holistic education in a stress free environment.
Stress and anxiety often weight heavily on young minds being focused is at time difficult. Counseling helps young learners to overcome all hurdles and move ahead. School has special counseling programs to help students. In this we play the role of advisor and friend to students facing emotional and psychological stress of any kind.
The novel concept of adoption a weak student on the basis of previous result and continuous monitoring (not only in academics but one showing signs of behavioral disorder also) has been of great help in bringing about an improvement in the student. The constant attention and guidance and a strict implementation of the program by the teacher is an effective tool to create wonders in eradicating the problems of adopted students. It is being observed that mostly weak students are either slow writer/learner or they do not concentrate or the parents in such cases are unable to check these students academically. A teacher through this program is supposed to become a coordinator to help the students to overcome all these drawback.
This program is introduced to go along with the academic to ensure that standard of academics may be improved. The main emphasis during this program will be on understanding, speaking, reading, writing, spelling and pronunciation of English language.
Remedial classes are taken for weak students. In this the teacher devotes extra and quality time to academically weak students at their own initiative. The teacher strictly monitors day to day working of the student.
For better interaction between the Teacher-Student, such periods has been arranged. These periods allows the children to spend more time with their class teachers to discuss and come up with their problems. The teacher also gets time to preach and inculcate moral values among the students.
This workshop is conducted for the parents by Director Mr. Paras Siraswal and Head Mistress Mrs Heena siraswal in the beginning of the session just to make them aware how to go hand in hand with the school’s rule and policy for the betterment of the ward.
Parent Teacher interaction plays an integral and active part in providing our students with the best educational facilities. The school conducts various meetings and workshops for parents and teachers that help in understanding the child better.
The scope of the area of study is not confined to the development of educational skill but goes much beyond to inculcate meaningful experience that promote values like dignity of labour, respect for people, understanding the need of good physical and mental health as well as a positive attitude. To promote this children are often taken for visits to other educational institutions, special schools for disabled children, orphanages, old age homes etc. It is also our responsibility to make our children aware of their duties towards the society. so we regularly teach sharing,helping and loyal manners.
